What Kitchen Item has found a home in my sewing studio?

The Ove Glove! I got tired of burning my fingers when pressing seams open when required – and I seem to lack the motor skills to hold the iron in one hand, another tool in the other, and hold my piece down on the board. I found that the Ove Glove allows me the use of my fingers to press the seam open, and if I should get going too fast and hit myself with the iron – no burn!
