I pray…
I pray for peace.
It’s been a tough year. There is so much hatred in the world, even within our own country. Our futures seem uncertain, so many sentences end with “depending on what happens with <insert variable>; my job, the election, the government, etc. There are so many things that have put us all on edge. I pray that everyone finds peace and stability in the new year and retains a sense of hope moving forward.
I pray for understanding.
No one likes to be judged (unless it’s for a beautiful quilt in a show!). We need to step back and give everyone their space and not expect them to be exactly like us. We are all individuals, which is what makes this world a beautiful place. We continually get to share our world with others, and in turn learn from theirs. It makes us better people. I pray that everyone can find a happy medium where we can all be ourselves without fear of retaliation or criticism.
I pray for comfort.
We all need a safe place with loving people who wrap us in a sense of calm, security, comfort. I pray that we all take time from the hectic, crazy world to find that place and immerse ourselves in it. I believe doing so will lead us all to more peace and understanding.
I pray for you.
Whatever your situation, wherever you are, I pray that all your dreams and wishes come true. If you are facing challenges, as we all do at times, I pray that your struggle now will lead you to truly recognize and appreciate the joy and light you will find later..
From all of us at PMQD, I pray your holidays are joyous and filled with family, friends and good memories. And we thank you for giving us the opportunity to be of service to you.
