It’s been a little bit since I’ve posted. A lot going on I guess. I had mentioned the challenges we’ve been facing, and I’m happy to report that our prayers were answered and we are free from at least one of them. We’re so busy making plans for the upcoming show season (our first is in Tennessee in March – then we go straight through November!). Plus we have the studio work going on – our special use permit was approved and we are shooting for June for a Grand Opening! My heart is soaring with so much possibility and opportunity. I am so grateful.
Our first show will be A Mountain Quiltfest in Pigeon Forge, TN in March. I’m happy to report that the venue was unscathed in the recent fires that devastated Gatlinburg. The City of Pigeon Forge and Holloways Country Home are hosting a quilt auction to benefit Dolly Parton’s “My People Fund”. They are looking for quilt donations to be auctioned off at the March event. The flyer attached below give instructions on how to label, sleeve, and ship your quilt by the end of February to benefit the people affected by the fires. Should you wish to send a quilt donation – PMQD would happily create an embroidered label to be attached to the back of your quilt. Just comment here, or send me an email () with the information you want included by February 10th so we have time to mail your completed label to you upon completion.
